"Arab Detroit" will hold its Images and Perceptions of Arab Americans Workshop, entitled "Arab Bashing in America: Fact or Fiction." on Wednesday, 5-31- 2006, 8:30- 2 p.m.

Former Congresswoman Mary Rose Oakar, ADC National President is keynote.

Other presenters include Dr. Nadine Naber, Assistant Professor of the Program on America Culture and Department of Women’s Studies at the University of Michigan;

Dr. Evelyn Azeeza Sultany, Research Investigator on Racism for the Program on American Culture at the University of Michigan;

Ray Hanania, award-winning writer, author and comedian from Chicago.

The cost for the workshop is $95 per person, which includes a continental breakfast, luncheon and workshop. University of Michigan – Dearborn Fairlane Center.
