POLICE OBTAIN ARREST WARRANT FOR STEPHEN MILLER IN CONNECTION WITH THE DEATH OF ADAM ABDALLAH

On June 23, 2010, Officers from the Bridgeview Police Department responded to the Shell Gas Station located at 8700 S. Harlem Ave reference a fight involving multiple subjects, which resulted in the death of one of the victims: 27 year old Adam Abdallah.

Detectives from Bridgeview Police and the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force, working from leads developed during this investigation, identified the offenders involved as Matthew Doolan 24 years old, Marchello Cappelletti 23 years old, and Stephen Miller 18 years old, all of the Southwest Suburbs.

Matthew Doolan and Marchello Cappelletti have been arrested and charged in this incident.

On July 2, 2010, the Bridgeview Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for Stephen Miller for Murder in connection with the death of Adam Abdallah.

 (Bridgeview, IL May 27, 2010) Zakat Foundation of America, a Muslim-run relief and development organization based in Bridgeview, IL,  is pleased to announce its financial support, along with the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), to the initial stage of Inner-City Muslim Action Network’s (IMAN) groundbreaking Green Reentry Project.

The Green Reentry Project is designed to revitalize long-neglected neighborhoods by converting vacant, foreclosed and vandalized properties on Chicago's South Side into vibrant, environmentally sustainable housing. The renovation project will provide on-the-job-training for formerly incarcerated Muslims and subsequently provide them with transitional housing. The Green Reentry Project was one of eight such projects chosen by the City of Chicago’s Department of Environment for funding under the Community Green Job program.

While Zakat Foundation is an international charity organization working in over 30 countries around the world, its Social Services Program actively carries out humanitarian work in the United States through the development of partnerships to support communities in times of crisis, as well as long-term development programs designed to promote self-reliance through skill building and income-generating initiatives.  In supporting IMAN’s Green Reentry Project, Zakat Foundation once again confirms its commitment to human development within its local community.

IMAN, an organization that works closely on issues of criminal justice, believes that with the right resources and opportunities, previously incarcerated individuals can become productive members of society who will lead the way in restoring their communities and neighborhoods. AAMW: Suspect wanted in Sat. Nov. 1, 2008 Bridgeview Slaying

The Bridgeview Police Department and the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force are investigating a homicide, which occurred on November 01, 2008 at the Middle Eastern Financial Services located at 7323 W. 87th St, in which a female employee of Middle Eastern Financial was fatally shot.

It is requested that the below information be broadcasted to your listeners, viewers and readers informing them of this incident and providing them with information regarding the suspect and vehicle involved.

The suspect is described as a white male possibly of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern decent approximately 40 to 50 years of age, between 5ft 7inches to 5ft 10inches tall weighing between 200 to 230lbs. The suspect walks with a slight limp. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a newer model, charcoal colored Toyota 4 Runner Sport. The vehicle has a luggage rack, a hood scoop and 6 point rims. The vehicle also has driver and passenger side running boards with unknown Illinois registration, possibly with handicapped registration.
